County Friendly match at Bridgmans BC , Harrold.  Sunday Oct 17th 2021. Northants   v Oxfordshire.

Once more, a keen selection of County bowlers gathered in the comfortable surroundings of Bridgmans Bowls Club to await our visitors from Oxfordshire.

The visiting bowlers were a sociable and friendly bunch, and we were our usual welcoming and competitive selves. The day’s games were completed in an excellent sporting spirit, with many close finishes and reverses of fortune.

At the end of the day’s play, Northants had gained a win by 39-21 overall, and we look forward to the planned repeat visit of the Oxfordshire bowlers in early 2022.

Thanks to all those who took part, and a special thanks to those Northants players who arrived promptly and quickly set out for the day’s play, and also thanks to those who packed everything away so efficiently at the end.
