SINGLES CHAMPIONSHIP
A strongly contested singles competition with 23 entries. The semi finalists were Chris Terry and Fred Pearson, with the final winner Andrew Smith and runner up Chris Weston
FOURS CHAMPIONSHIP
A busy day with 17 teams entering this competition, each team playing eight ends. Quarter finals, semi finals and then the finals which was between teams from Old Stratford and Harpole. The team of Chris Hopkins, Aaron Clare, Edward Sawbridge and Steve McAllister beat the team of Katie Mason, Lee Watts, Sarah Watts and Gordon Watts. An excellent day’s bowling.
MIXED FOURS CHAMPIONSHIP
7 Teams of Mixed Fours played a round robin competition which gave teams a full day of bowling. The winning team with the most points were Paul D’Inverno, Maureen D’Inverno, Michael Tite and Julie Tite from Harpole Bowls Club. A very good days bowling.
OVER 55’s CHAMPIONSHIP
15 Pairs of Over 55’s were played in groups of five, then onto a knockout to decide the eventual winners. It was a very close competition with the final being played with Dave Ekins and Chris Weston verses Mary and Eddie Carter. Dave and Chris were the winners. Well done to everybody who took part.
TRIPLES CHAMPIONSHIP
16 Teams took part in a hard fought competition and the final was between Chris Hopkins, Edward Sawbridge and Steve McAlister V Mo Page, Dave Ekins and Chris Weston. After a tense final the winners were Chris, Edward and Steve. Well done to all those who took part

OVER 55’s CHAMPIONSHIP
The Over 55’s (pairs) were played to eight ends, semi final, and final which was between Chris Hopkins and Steve McCallister V Jonny Cataldi and Brenda Hart from Manor. After a good game the better team Chris and Steve from Old Stratford won by 10 points to 8
Charity Random Match August 14th
