The return match against Cambridge was an excellent competition fought with great spirit and enthusiasm by both sides. Out team worked well together and Northamptonshire won 27 to Cambridge 13. Well done

Our County team had an enjoyable and productive visit to March in Cambridge on the 3rd October. After a competitive but sporting contest the score was Northamptonshire 31 – 9 over our opposition, with every member of our team registering at least one win during the match. Well done all. The County team travelled to Stowmarket to play against Suffolk. It was the first game of the new season and the squad was ready to enjoy their opening ICC match. After a vey competitive days bowling, played in a good spirit the final score was 29 points to Suffolk and 11 points to Northamptonshire. Well done

The county friendly match at Stevenage was a very hard fought affair, with some close games. Thanks to all our players who gave of their best. Eventually, Herts emerged as winners 36 – 24

The game was fiercely contested. Sociable And enjoyable days bowling. It was expected that a draw was the the popular result in a number of the early games. After a maximum haul of points for our team in the final session brought things to a close finish. Herts winners 32 – 28

A very challenging match played in good humour, but unfortunately not the best result for Northamptonshire.
The result was Northants 18 points – Hertfordshire 22 points

All the games were played in good spirits and although Northamptonshire were not up to their usual high standard in the first half they did better in the second half. The mats were very difficult to play as they were on uneven floors. The result was a draw.  

The ICC season started in the ESMBA competition with a home match against Suffolk.
